About The Role
BaKare Beds supply a range of world class healthcare beds & products to the UK & Ireland. Clients include individuals requiring assistive products within the home, care homes, special needs schools & hospices.

£17,000 + staff pension after qualification period. Part-Time Pro Rata pay.

Job Description :
Operating as part of a 2 man team, undertaking Nationwide delivery, installation and service of electrically adjustable nursing beds and associated equipment. The position involves a minimum of 2 nights / week away on the road, on a 3 week rota with 1 week in 3 providing assistance locally in the warehouse.
All expenses (accommodation & food) covered whilst on the road.

Job Roles / Tasks:
Driving 3.5 ton luton van (covered by normal car driving license)
Efficient and achievable route planning and booking of necessary accommodation.
Preparation of goods to be delivered and safe loading and securing of goods on the delivery vehicle.
Contact of customers prior to actual delivery and delivery, installation, demonstration of products to customers satisfaction.
Collection of payments for goods where necessary.
Provide structured feedback of deliveries and demonstrations to Sales Dept
Maintain and clean delivery Vehicles and undertake daily and weekly vehicle checks.
Rotational cover for Warehouse and Technical Staff.
Carry out repairs and inspections of Bakare products.
Ensure that delivery costs are kept to a minimum by monitoring fuel prices and accommodation and subsistence costs
Key Performance Indicators:
Keeping to planned delivery times wherever possible.
Ensuring that the customer is kept informed regarding delivery times, arrangements and product information.
Keep delivery costs down through efficient route planning, monitoring fuel prices and accommodation and subsistence costs.
Vehicles maintained in a clean and roadworthy condition.
